We are currently hiring several positions for our new mother’s home- Margie’s Place, located in Berne, IN. We hope to open in the summer of 2024. If you are interested in any of the positions below, please reach out to brandi@hopeandanswers.com.

The mission of Margie’s Place is to provide a home environment that empowers women to embrace motherhood with strength, resilience and hope.
We aim to do this by:
- Providing a safe, stable & nurturing environment
- Equipping the woman with parenting, relational & life skills
- Fostering spiritual growth
- Developing a culture of family in the home
Margie’s Place will have the capacity to house 3 residents, along with their baby/ babies. A woman will be eligible to live at Margie’s Place while she is pregnant, or within the first year of her child’s life. The expected length of stay for a woman is around 12 months, but will vary for each woman based on her life situation, and at what point in her pregnancy/ postpartum experience that she moves into our home.
Each resident will work with the Housing Manager to create individual goals and a plan for their stay. They will participate in in-home classes on parenting and life skills topics, pursue schooling or employment, and discover what it looks like to be part of a healthy family environment.
